Cookie Policy
What cookies this website uses, which ones are your choice, and how to change your mind.

What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others tell us how the site is being used, and those are entirely your choice.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask which cookies you’re happy with. Nothing optional is set until you say yes, and saying no is as easy as saying yes. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of every page.
Cookies this site uses
Strictly necessary
These are always on, because the site doesn’t work properly without them. No consent is needed for these and you can’t turn them off here.
- seopress-user-consent-accept (set by this site) — remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again. Lasts 6 months.
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* (set by this site) — keeps a signed-in editor signed in while they update the website. These are never set for an ordinary visitor. Session to 1 year.
Analytics — only set if you accept them
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where in the world they are. It doesn’t tell us your name, and we don’t try to identify you from it.
- _ga (set by Google Analytics) — tells returning visits apart from new ones, using a random ID. Lasts 2 years.
- _ga_G-9DE9M9F3W0 (set by Google Analytics) — keeps the current session going. Lasts 2 years.

Spam protection — on our contact page only
The enquiry form on our contact page is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which works out whether a submission comes from a person or a bot. To do that, Google receives your IP address and information about how you interacted with the page. This runs only on that page, not across the rest of the site. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms apply.
Our WhatsApp button is a plain link. It sets no cookies and shares nothing with WhatsApp until you tap it and send us a message.
Turning cookies off in your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all of them will break parts of most websites, including this one. For instructions, see aboutcookies.org or your browser’s own help pages.
