How long will it take to get a mortgage?

This really depends on how quickly you can gather the information asked by the lender. As long as you are able to provide all necessary proof and information, you should expect the mortgage application process to take usually around 6 weeks. It is usually quicker for a straight forward application to be offered and can take a little longer if anything more complicated is involved.
